Game Jam Results + v2.50 Update

3D Print, Game Jam, Game Update, Video Content

Hi everyone,

Two weeks ago we ran our 5th bi-annual game jam, which was awesome. It was great to see the discord chat buzzing with ideas, and everyone being creative, playtesting, and generally talking game design.

Congratulations to the top 3 rated games:

  1. Silent, But Deadly by MetalOstrich
  2. Scourge of the Seven by Baarfa
  3. VAMPIRE: Gehenna Wars by JetGet

See all submissions here: https://itch.io/jam/oprgj5/entries

With that being said, we have decided that we’re going to stop doing the game jams, and instead focus on running 3 writing jams per year, instead of only 2 per year. We’d like to thank everyone that has been participating in our game jams, and hope to see you as part of our writing jams in the future. :)

We’ll be back with the 5th edition of the writing jam in August, and you can sign up here!

v2.50 Update (New Gang + War Clans)

Today we’ve updated the OPR WebApp with the Nomads Gang as well as the Tyrants Clan, Scions Clan, Savage Clan and the Brood Clan. With this, every list we have has now been adapted to v2.50! :)

So, what does this mean for us now?

The next step is for us to do a big review of the army lists in general, as well as of the core rules, fixing any issues reported by the community, as well as improving the base games. Additionally, we are going to focus on the development of essential WebApp features that are necessary for it to come out of beta.

Once all of that is done, the beta will officially be over, and things will go back to normal.

For those of you that haven’t been with us since before the beta, going back to normal means that there will only be one source for the army books again (the OPR WebApp), that the version numbers will go back to their original sequence (instead of using v2.50), and that army updates will be less frequent and fully documented via change logs on our website (in news posts just like this one).

This has been a long journey, and we are eager to get to the end of it! :D

MMF – Models Removed Soon

At the end of the month we’re going to permanently archive some of our oldest models on MMF, which don’t reflect our vision of OPR models anymore. If you want to buy the models, make sure to get them before the 31st of May!

The models are only going to be archived on MMF, so don’t worry, this means that if you bought the models, they will stay in your MMF library forever. The only thing that’s changing is that the models won’t be available for purchase anymore.

Here are the models that will be archived:

  • All Dwarf models (including Bases and Game Aids)
  • All Battle Sisters models (including Bases and Game Aids)
  • All of the Great Daemon models

Some of these models (such as the Bases and Game Aids) might come back in the future once we re-visit those armies, but otherwise we’re not planning on bringing them back.

New Video Content

That’s it for today, have a nice weekend everyone. :)

Happy Wargaming!
