Today we’ve got 2 New Armies, Painting Contest results, a bigger Store Discount, lots of Paper Miniatures, as well as great news for Arena Season 2 and a new Battle Report.
Let’s get to it!
As announced last week, we’ve got 2 new extremely powerful armies coming at you, the Giant Tribes and Custodian Brothers!
The Giant Tribes are a new army for Age of Fantasy which is made up purely of giant models, with tons of different varieties for you to try out. This is a totally unique army for Age of Fantasy, as you can now field an entire army made up of just 1-2 models, or ally massive giants with your existing army.
The Custodian Brothers used to be part of the Battle Brother Detachments, but we’ve decided to split them off and give them the makeover that they deserve! The new Custodian Brothers are much more durable and dish out a lot more attacks, making for a tiny army of extremely powerful units.
Check out the army folders in the respective game pages to download them!
Painting Contest Results
This month we ran the very first Painting Contest, and now the results are in!
The winner is:
Congratulations to Sebastian, who has won one free month at Tier 3 on Patreon!
Barry makes really cool comics set in the world of Phineus, and if you support him on Patreon you not only get early access to his upcoming comics, but also to bonus comics that are not available on the main site for free!
Today we’ve got a ton of new stuff for you, price cuts, a painting competition, our new store, pre-supported models, a new collaboration, stretch goals, patreon updates, new units and some battle reports.
Let’s get to it!
30% Discount on Arena Games
Starting off with a bang, we’ve got a hefty 30% discount on our arena games!
From now on we’ll also be doing our file delivery via MyMiniFactory, here’s how it works:
Our 3D print files are delivered via MyMiniFactory; in order to have access to your monthly rewards you need to use the same e-mail address on Patreon and MyMiniFactory.
As soon as new models are released, you will receive an e-mail to redeem your files, which will then be permanently available in your MyMiniFactory library.
We update our e-mail list every week on Monday, so if you still haven’t received your files please be patient, they are either not ready for delivery yet (see below) or you will receive them as soon as our e-mail list is updated again.
That’s it, if you have any questions please let us know!
The files from in both standard STL, supported STL and supported LYS format, giving you plenty of options on how to print them. All of our supports have been fully tested to guarantee that they work well and don’t damage the models.
Collaboration with Asgard Rising
This month we’re doing a cross-promotion with Asgard Rising, providing you with their awesome Jarl Rurik model. Here’s a message from the team:
From today until the end of this month only for One Page Rules Patrons we have an exclusive gift : “Jarl Rurik – Midgard Viking Shieldmans Chieftain”
This figure is provided by our friends from Asgard Rising Miniatures. They do some incredible detailed miniatures fantasy style.
As our Patreon following keeps growing, we want to provide more and more value to all of our subscribers, and so we’ve decided to add a series of stretch goals!
The stretch goals are simple:
If we hit 700 subscribers we will give a 30% discount code for our store
If we hit 850 subscribers we will give a 40% discount code for our store
If we hit 1000 subscribers we will give a 50% discount code for our store
Right now the discount codes are only available for Tier 3 patrons, however we’re currently also thinking of re-working the structure of our tiers, so in the future you may very well see the discount codes being provided to all of our tiers…
Patreon Tier 1 Removal
As you already read from the title, we are going to be closing down Tier 1 at the end of the month (31st of October). We know this is probably not news you were expecting to get, so we wanted to give you a heads up and an explanation of what is going on.
Over the past year the project has been growing and expanding, and with it our offering has become bigger and bigger. As we keep adding more content at Tier 2 and Tier 3, we noticed that over time Tier 1 has become a bit redundant, and so we decided to shut it down and ask people to switch to Tier 2.
In order to make the switch that much sweeter, starting in October we’re going to be providing all of the PSD rewards at Tier 2 as well. :)
We’re sorry for any inconvenience this might cause, and we’re happy to see you as part of Tier 2 and share more awesome content with you!
With new model kits coming out left and right, we’ve decided to update some of our existing armies, and we’re also going to release a couple of new ones in the coming weeks.
We’ve also decided to streamline the way that upgrade lists for Battle Brother Detachments, Havoc Brother Disciples and Havoc Warrior Disciples are displayed, making them a bit easier to read and use.
Looking at the latest version of the Battle Brother Detachments you might notice that the Custodian Brothers are missing, and that is because they’re going to get their very own army book soon!
Here the changes in today’s update:
Added new units: Prime ATV, Anti-Grav Tank, Prime Speeder, Support Turret
Modified and condensed hero units
Added new options for heroes with Combat Bikes, Grave Armor, Veteran Infantry and Repair
Assault Squads and Prime Brothers can now be upgraded to Veteran Infantry
Prime Brothers can now be upgraded with Grave Armor and Heavy Machineguns
Heavy Anti-Grav Transport and Destroyer Tanks now have Tough(18)
Added new units: Destroyer Robot Snakes, Tri-Scorpion Pistoleer, Heavy Annihilator
Tripod Robots can be updated with new weapons
Heroes can now be upgraded with Jetbikes
Once again Sad and Lonely Gamer has released a brutal solo battle report for Grimdark Future, this time featuring 2000pts of Wolf Brothers vs Orc Marauders.
This week we’ve also got a new channel covering our games. Battle Knights have released an awesome Age of Fantasy battle report that serves both as a how-to-play video, as well as just an enjoyable battle. They put up Halflings vs Chivalrous Kingdoms, and got some really stunning models and terrain!
That’s it everyone, next week we’ll hopefully have even more game updates for you, and soon enough we’ll start bothering you with Game Jam #2 updates… ;)
Today we’ve got a truly gargantuan update for you, with a new game, writing jam results, october previews, game updates, and much more.
Let’s get to it!
The wait is finally over everyone, Warfleets: FTL is now available to the public!
When I was first approached by Austin Peasley back in 2014 about the making of a spaceship battles game, I could’ve never imagined that we’d be here 6 years later releasing a full spaceship game of our own.
The journey has been long, with many iterations of the game, and even some moments of true despair, but we’re really happy that this game is now available for download, and can’t wait to see player’s reactions to it!
For those of you that are hearing about Warfleets: FTL for the first time, this is our take on a fast and furious spaceship battles game, which offers tons of fleet customization and exciting space battles.
Players take on the roles of commanders of a fully personalized fleet, which is made up of ships, heroes and upgrades from a common set of assets, as well as special assets from one of 6 interstellar factions.
Each faction comes with its own selection of ships, heroes and upgrades, and there is also a wide selection of legendary fleets, giving players the chance to step into the shoes of legendary FTL admirals.
As always, the core rules and faction book are completely free, and they offer countless hours of explosive spaceship battles… but what if you want more?
If you support us on Patreon, you can get access to the Full Rulebook, which adds a ton of advanced rules that allow you to further customize your games, with extra missions, deployment styles, events, and much more.
The Full Rulebook also has rules that allow you to re-use widgets from other games, such as blast markers, order dice, ordnance tokens, command dials, and many more.
Here a full breakdown of what you get in the Full Rulebook:
Terrain Placement Rules
Multiple Deployment Styles
Terrain & Objective Effects
Fog of War Rules
Catastrophic Damage Rules
Order Dice Rules
Shields & Defense Tokens Rules
Scanner Ranges Rules
Rules for Planetary Control Games
Rules for Multiplayer Games
Rules for Kitchen Table Games
If you don’t have any spaceship models, you can also pick up our very own 2D and 3D models on Patreon, where we’re releasing a new fleet every month.
This month we’ve released the 2D Empire Fleet and the 3D Empire Fleet, and if you stick with us you’ll have the full set of all fleets as they’re all released.
Next month we’ll also be releasing a set of 2D space terrain with lots of asteroids fields, destroyed ships, space nebulas and more, which you can use to pretty up your table when playing both with 2D and 3D models.
Alright, this should be enough of a preview, now it’s time for you to check out the games yourself. Make sure to join our Discord Server to share pictures of your battles and provide your feedback and ideas!
Note that the Full Rulebook is going to be available exclusively on Patreon until we feel that the game is polished enough for a “final” release, at which point it will be removed and put for sale on our WargameVault store.
Writing Jam Results
A few weeks ago we ran our very first OPR Writing Jam, and finally the results are in!
The writing jam gives participants the opportunity to share their own take on the stories taking place in the OPR universe, writing a one-page story in just 48hrs based on the same single theme: INFINITE LOOP
September has really been a crazy month, we tripled the amount of different units we released for 3D printing, we’ve doubled the amount of armies we released for 2D printing, plus we’ve got 3 new games for everyone.
If you’re not a patron yet, please consider subscribing, as this is the only way we can keep the project alive. Not only do you get a ton of extra content, but also our eternal gratitude.
October Release Previews
With the month coming to an end, it’s time we take a look at what’s coming in October, and once again it’s going to be a very content packed month. :D
On the 3D models side we’re continuing with our Alien Hives and Mummified Undead releases, and for FTL we’re going to be releasing the Marauders fleet. On the games side, we’re going to be releasing the 4th chapter of Jakob’s Path, as well as Season 2 of the arena games and warband creators (Season 1 will be released in early October).
We also have 2 major game releases that are going to be revealed in October, but we don’t want to spoil the surprise yet. All we can say is that we have a new expansion for GFF in the works, and also a completely new game that is going to take us in a new direction…
Here’s everything you’ll get in October:

Small Game Updates
Moving on to updates for our core games, this week we’re adding a bunch of new units!
The great folks at Stonehorse Gaming have been releasing more and more AoF:R videos, with an awesome how to play video and a battle report. Now they’re also adding new tactics videos which cover all aspects of the game one by one, and are definitely worth checking out.
Three Men and a Wargame Podcast
Last but not least, we wanted to give a shoutout to the Three Men and a Wargame podcast, who were so kind to cover our September releases in full detail.
This week Wyloch’s Armory posted a great how to play Grimdark Future video on YouTube, which covers all aspects of the game and OPR as a whole.
If you’ve never played the game, or have always wondered if you’ve been missing out on something, then this video is for you. Make sure to also check out his battle report series.
Age of Fantasy: Regiments Battle Report
It’s awesome to see more and more videos being made for our games, and this week Stonehorse Gaming also released an awesome battle report for AoF: Regiments. This demo game shows off all of the basics of the game in a single battle, so it’s also perfect for players that are still trying to learn the game.
OPR Community Wiki
Did you know that OPR has an official Community Wiki now?
The wiki was created to provide a place where new players can find more information about our games, as well as find extensive miniatures libraries to know which models can be used for different units.
There are also games and faction pages that fill you in on the background stories of our games, and there are tactics pages to give you a better idea on how to play each faction.
The wiki is pretty new and still needs to be filled with a lot of content, so everyone is welcome to contribute by adding new pages, completing information on existing ones, adding miniature pictures, writing tactics, etc.
There are templates for all sorts of pages, so you just need to copy those and fill them out!
Infected Colonies are settlements that have been infected by a mysterious virus which mutates them into blood-hungry warriors. Those that have been infected are categorized into different stages, with each stage having a different effect on the mutated subject.
Nico makes really amazing models for RPGs and wargames, and if you support him on Patreon you not only get access to his full archive of models, but also get custom miniatures made by him to your liking!
For the next few months we’ll be releasing sets of his lovingly drawn Space Elves models, which come in 4 different colors and feature front and back art.
Today we’ve got an awesome new collaboration, some updates on the Vile Rattus, a new free 3D print model, and the release of a starter set for Age of Fantasy.
Collaboration with Manuel Boria
This month we’ve got a special treat for you in terms of 3D models, as we’ve partnered up with the amazing Manuel Boria, who makes awesome models for wargames and RPGs. His models are available on Patreon, MyMiniFactory and Thingiverse, and they are an absolute treat! :D
If you’ve never heard of him and are interested in fantasy miniatures, then you should definitely check his stuff out. Not only does he make really epic heroes and warriors, but also really adorable monster cubs.
The models can of course be used for any other games, for example WarStuff, or even Deathball with just a few sports-related modifications. The sky is the limit with these amazing models! :D
Vile Rattus Cult
If you missed the Kickstarter Campaign for the Vile Rattus Cult fret not, because That EvilOne has now put up all of these rat-tastic models up for sale on CGTrader, which you can check out by clicking HERE.
Free Fanatic Sisters Model
This week we released yet another free model on Thingiverse, this time a battle-ready Fanatic Sister.
If you want to help us out please make sure to give the model a like, thanks! :)
Island of Doom – AoF Starter Set
Since the release of the Battle for Magellan-2 Starter Set players have been asking us to make similar starter sets for our other games, and this week we’re happy to release the Island of Doom starter set.
This starter set contains the core rules, 12 unit stat cards, two complete paper armies with 43 miniatures, 11 flat terrain pieces and a set of 106 play tokens, making for an awesome starter package.
If you’re interested you can get this starter set for just $4.99 by clicking HERE.
These starter sets don’t have multiple army colors or terrain seasons like you get on Patreon, so the best deal is still to subscribe there, but they should hopefully give more players a new way to find and try out our games. :)
That’s it for today, make sure to tune in next week for some game updates and more releases.
Today we’ve got so much new stuff for you that we don’t even know where to begin!
In today’s update you’ll find news about the release of a new narrative campaign, a huge balance update that’s affecting most armies, more updates on specific armies, new 2D and 3D models, and much much more.
Over this past week we’ve also been running a community campaign, but honestly with so much stuff in today’s update we don’t think it’s the right time to share the results yet, as they deserve a biggest spotlight. Because of this you can expect the results next week.
Anyway, let’s get the show on the road!
Jakob’s Path: Chapter 1
Something that players have been asking us for a long time is to provide more narrative for our games, involving epic stories of battles and heroes across the worlds we’ve built.
Well, the time has finally come, and this week we’re super happy to release the first chapter of our first Grimdark Future narrative campaign: Jakob’s Path.
Jakob’s Path is a narrative campaign for Grimdark Future, which is being released in 5 chapters. Each chapter continues the story and features 2 new missions for you to play. Whilst the campaign was written with Battle Brothers vs Orc Marauders in mind, it can be played with any other factions and whatever models you have.
Chapter 1 begins the adventure with Jakob and his Battle Brothers landing on the mysterious planet of Zeloria-M5, looking to neutralize any Orc Marauders that inhabit it. Little did they know that they would find much more than just some pesky greenskins on the planet…
Note that you must be a Tier 2 patron to access to the link above.
This campaign is going to be available exclusively on Patreon until all 5 chapters have been released, after which it will go up for sale on our WargameVault Store at a higher price.
The story was written by Gabriela Rebelo who took part in the writer’s submission challenge, and you can expect more narrative campaigns in the future written by other people that submitted their stories!
Battle Sisters Army Pack
For our line of 2D print models this week we’ve release the Battle Sisters army pack.
Battle Sisters are all-female splinter factions of the Battle Brothers, which follow the lead of their own god-queen. They are equipped with custom heavy battle armor and wield powerful flame weapons to purge the galaxy.
To help you get into the game ASAP, here is a Quickplay Army you can use with these models:
1x High Sister w/ Pistol & Energy Sword
10x Battle Sisters w/ 1x Heavy Flamethrower
10x Battle Sisters w/ 1x Fusion Rifle
10x Fanatic Sisters
2D Print Tutorials
Speaking of 2D miniatures, we’ve decided to add a little tutorial page at the end of all of our 2D print files, showing you 2 different methods you can use to assemble your armies. Hopefully this will help new player to understand how to use them easily, and experiment with different methods to find what works best for them.
Beastmen Assassin by Ilhadiel
Moving on to 3D printing, this month we got the last model made in collaboration with the amazing Ilhadiel, and you should definitely check out his Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/ilhadiel
Beastmen Assassins protect their herds by killing those that threaten their lands. They work silently and without thanks, bloodying their hands to save their kind.
As previously announced we are going to close down the current Discourse forum and switch back to a Proboards forum at the end of the month, so if you’ve got anything to save then do it now: http://forum.onepagerules.com/
The old forum has already been re-opened, and we’ll switch the URL when the switch has been completed, but if you want to already register now you can do it: https://onepagerules.proboards.com/
Finally let’s move onto the game updates.
As some of you may have already noticed, some of the more elite armies and vehicles in the game can be very pricey, almost to the point of making them underpowered. This stems from the fact that until not a 2+ defense value has been very expensive, which was tipping the balance a little too much in favor of cheaper armies.
So, in a stroke of absolute madness we decided to re-balance the cost of 2+ during the last week, which meant that we’ve had to update almost every army book in the game. Luckily enough we had some volunteers to help out, but it was still a ton of work.
You can expect most vehicles to be cheaper, as well as all of the elite armies to be cheaper, which will hopefully shift the balance of the game enough to make them a bit more viable against horde armies, especially in skirmish.
This update is coming for all games, so you can also expect monsters and chariots to be cheaper in fantasy, as well as some of the other more resilient units out there.
Prime Brothers + Robot Legions Updates
With a new boxed set hitting the street we went ahead and added a couple of new units to the Prime Brothers and the Robot Legions, as well as doing some more changes.
Prime Brothers now all have the Firstborn special rule, which gives them Regeneration against non-spell attacks, making them a bit tougher to crack. Then we added 1 new hero and 4 new units, as well as giving all heroes the ability to take combat shields.
Robot Legions also got a bunch of new stuff, with 2 new heroes and 2 new units, as well as some new equipment for Overseers, Technomancers and Warriors. It’s a good day to be a robot.
We’ve also come up with some Quickplay Armies for you to get into the game if you got the boxed set.
1x Captain w/ Pistol, Energy Sword, Combat Shield & War Chant
Today we’re super excited to share with you news of an awesome upcoming Kickstarter campaign, as well as some other small updates regarding new releases and our forum.
Cult of Vile Rattus Kickstarter
Over the past couple of months ThatEvilOne has provided OPR with some awesomeratmenminiatures, and if you thought the rat madness was over, then you were very very wrong!
ThatEvilOne is launching a Kickstarter campaign this Sunday (12th of July)at 12PM (PST), which will be filled with a ton of amazing sci-fi ratmen models for you to 3D print at home.
The campaign will feature 80+ infantry and vehicle models, and we hear that there’s a ton of stretch goals as well to provide you with even more rat goodness. ;)
As a thank you for collaborating with us we’ve created a dedicated Vile Rattus Cult army list for Grimdark Future and Grimdark Future: Firefight, and on top of that anyone that backs the Kickstarter will also get a free copy of the Full Rulebooks for both games as well.
If you’d like to help us make sure to follow us on Thingiverse and give the model a like, thanks!
Age of Fantasy Full Rulebook on WargameVault
As we announced last week we’re now providing our Full Rulebooks for sale on WargameVault for those that don’t have access to Patreon. It’s still much cheaper to get the model via Patreon, but if you really have no other option, then at least now you have a way to get the Age of Fantasy rulebook. :)
Around 3 months ago we switched our forum hosting from Proboards to Discourse, because on Proboards we had to manually provide patrons with additional forum access, which was becoming impossible as the number of supporters increased. Discourse being the only forum with a Patreon integration seemed like a dream, as it would allow us to automate the whole process, so we made the switch.
Looking at how things turned out, it’s clear to us that switching to Discourse was a mistake.
Whilst it’s true that it allowed for some automation, it also came with a number of other problems (from a bad interface to not sending out confirmation e-mails), which have lead to a decrease in forum members and forum usage. We tried getting some help from the Discourse developers, but they demand $100/month to give us support, and honestly we believe that money is better spent elsewhere (like art, miniatures, etc.).
So, what does this all mean?
Basically, we’re going to be shutting down the current Discourse forum at the end of the month, and switch back to Proboards. This means everyone’s old accounts, threads and posts will be restored, and hopefully we can go back to having a healthy forum again.
Switching back to Proboards means that we won’t have the Patreon integration anymore, and so it means that we will not have a patrons-only forum section anymore. Seeing how we haven’t had an active thread on there in a month, we hope this won’t be too big of a loss, and any patrons-only content can still be shared via our Discord server.
That’s it, we hope this helps shed some light on why we’re doing this. :)
That’s it for today, make sure to set a reminder for the Cult of Vile Rattus Kickstarter campaign. :D
In today’s update we have a new rulebook, some important changes, and a new 3D model collaboration, but let’s not waste too much time and get right into it.
Age of Fantasy: Regiments
Today we’re very excited to release the Full Rulebook for Age of Fantasy: Regiments!
This has been a LONG time coming, but now we finally have Full Rulebooks available for all of our games, as well as Beginner’s Guides to get people started. We’ve also updated some other important stuff as part of this release, so make sure to keep reading to find out what has changed. :)
Before we get into the contents we’d like to present you the new cover art for the game, another gorgeous piece by the mighty Brandon Gillam.
This new rulebook starts out with a thorough explanation of all the core rules of the game, with lots of diagrams and examples to make things as clear as possible.
We’ve found that new players that never played rank & file games before were struggling with some of the basic concepts of the game, and with this section it should be much easier for them to get into the game.
It’s only after that however that you get to the real meat of the rulebook!
The advanced rules section contains a ton of new ways for you to customize your game, such as new deployment zone types, new mission objectives, new actions, and a lot more.
These rules are modular so that you can mix and match however you like, allowing you to create tailor-made slaughter so you and your friends to revel in.
Then there is the total conversions section, which alter the core rules in such a way to provide you with completely new game mechanics, each with their own tactical challenges and strategies.
There are total conversions for things such as fog of war, fatigue and command points, each adding a new layer of the game, allowing you to experience the game like you never have before.
The newest addition to the game are Phased Battles, which change the way that alternating activations work, giving you more structure regimental battles, and allowing you to play massive game with ease.
Here is a full list of all the advanced rules and total conversions:
Terrain Placement Rules
Multiple Deployment Styles
Terrain & Objective Effects
Fog of War Rules
Brutal Damage Rules
Command Points Rules
Rules for Phased Battles
Rules for Multiplayer Games
Rules for Small-Scales & Multi-Basing
Oh, and did we mention that you can use the small-scales and multi-basing rules to play with your old Warmaster models, or to use your unit trays from Kings of War? :D
I think enough has been said, go get the rulebook by clicking HERE.
Note that when getting the rulebook for the low price of just $3 you’ll also get access to the other Patreon rewards, so that’s an additional 4 rulebooks for our other games, as well as this month’s 2D paper models.
As we mentioned earlier there’s some important updates that are coming along with this release, and whilst none of them are major, they’re all serving as small contributions in improving our games.
Starting off with our Age of Fantasy games, we’ve re-worked the way Command Groups work, and now you can buy individual Sergeants, Musicians and Battle Standards for your units, including in AoF: Skirmish.
Then for AoF: Regiments we’ve made a small update in the core rules, allowing Wavering units to do a single 90° pivot when they’re activated, but otherwise remaining idle. This should give units a small chance to fight back and recover, instead of keeping them stuck in a loop of Wavering results.
Speaking more generally we’ve also gone ahead and updated all of the army lists for GFF and AoFS, consolidating upgrade lists to remove awkward situations with multiple instances of the same upgrade for units.
Finally the biggest change comes to the way spell casting works, and this is both for the Grimdark Future games as well as the Age of Fantasy games. This update comes in two parts: line of sight changes and spell lists changes.
In the newest release of the game casting and blocking spells now requires line of sight. This not only feels more natural on the tabletop, but should also stop spell casters from hiding safely behind a mountain all game whilst wreaking havoc on enemy forces.
Then we’ve also gone back and re-worked all spell lists for all armies, lowering the power of attack spells as well as re-balancing them to make them a little more useful for each individual army. With this newest release you can’t spend the whole match just spamming attack spells, incentivising players to use effect spells more.
With all of these changes we’ve updated pretty much every single army in the game, so whatever files you have are now outdated, and you should make sure to get the latest release. :)
He has tons of fantasy models available, but what caught our eyes the most is his line of Foxmen, which are perfect to use as Beastmen in Age of Fantasy. To help him spread the word about his miniatures we’re going to be releasing 3 of his models in the coming months, starting with a Beastmen Champion!
Beastmen Champions are unstoppable forces of destruction on the battlefield, slaughtering their enemies with wild strength. This model comes with a massive broadsword that can chop through even the toughest foes.
Anyone will be able to submit a game, and you can work alone or in teams. When the jam is over everyone will be able to judge the games, and then we will highlight a few of our favourite games on the OPR website.
There is no winner or prize, it’s all just for fun!
We really want to make this something special, and the more people join the better, so spread the news wherever you can and let’s make miniature game jams a thing. :D
Dwarf Troops Released
Last month we released some mighty Dwarf Lords, so this month it’s time for us to release troops that they can lead into battle!
The Dwarves are known across Tyria for their prowess in battle and lack of fear when faced with enemies twice their height, and these warriors are rightly respected by their enemies. These models are modular and come with 5 different head designs, 5 different body designs, 3 different weapons and a shield.
Note that you must be a Tier 3 patron to access to the link above.
These models are going to be available exclusively on Patreon until the 29th of April, after which they will go up for sale on our CGTrader store at a higher price.
Machine Cult Defilers
Today we’re releasing a new army from Grimdark Future, the Machine Cult Defilers.
Machine Cult Defilers are a twisted faction of humans that have fused with machines to become brain-dead killers that know no mercy. They wage war to serve their machine-gods in their quest to eradicate the Sirius sector of all biological life.
We’ve also used this update as a chance to review the Feudal Guard army, adding some new units and re-working from of the existing ones to be more in line with the HDF.
Today we have just a small update to the tournament guides, as well as a couple of small army updates for Grimdark Future.
Added section on stacking modifiers from special rules and spells
High Elf Fleets
High Seers can’t upgrade to Psychic(3) anymore
Human Defense Force
Re-worked the Ogre Squads Heavy SMGs
Re-worked melee upgrades for Battlesuit Captains
Heavy Stealth Suits now have Tough(12) and re-worked Stealth Drones
Tide Titans now have Tough(18)
Surge Titans now come with Pulse Cannons Equipped
Grimdark Future Community Campaign
To combat quarantine loneliness and lack of wargaming we started a Grimdark Future community campaign on the forum: The Battle for Tarkanis.
The campaign is open for anyone to join, and we use the forum thread to track armies, share battle reports and more. You can take part in the campaign from home or play with us online using our Discord server and Roll20 tables.
The campaign is played using the Grimdark Future Campaign Rules, and it will run for 2 weeks until the 26th of April, after which we see who wins!
AoFS Solo Battle Report
Been a while since we last shared a battle report, so here is a new Age of Fantasy Skirmish solo battle report by Sad and Lonely Gamer, this time featuring a brutal 250pts battle of Sky-City Dwarves vs Disciples of War.
Last week we posted a teaser, this week we posted a teaser… so maybe next week we’ll post yet another teaser?
That’s it for today, make sure to sign up for the game jam and tell everyone about it, and we hope you enjoy the new miniatures and armies too. :)
