Come and play or learn to play Grimdark Future and Grimdark Future Firefight. Help build a cross-venue War Gamming community. The Grimdark Future series of games is a miniature agnostic system that is fun to play, easy to learn. A basic game of Grimdark Future Firefight takes less than an hour to play once you know the rules. Best of all, the rules as well as paper and .stl files are available for FREE. We teach and play "Grimdark Future: Firefight" and some experienced players play Grimdark Future. "Grimdark Future: Firefight" is a skirmish level game that pits team of between 5 and 10 figures against one another. Figures will be supplied to new players interested in learning. All players are welcome to bring preconstructed 300-point teams and use the forces organization rules to keep it balanced. This is planned as a two time a month even on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday starting at 6pm. This will continue for as long as there is interest. It is our intention to grow with regards to the event types. We are additionally adding building and painting at this and other locations as we start to establish a slow grow league.

10th - 12th October Warplings Wargaming Club will be at PAX demoing game from One Page Rules. Be introduced to the wonders of table top wargaming with out the need to study for PhD. The volunteers from Warplings will guide through you first round of One Page Rules in your chosen system and help you out with any question you might have.

We are a small Wargaming group within the Lincolnshire area of the UK who meet every two weeks from 18:00-22:00 (beginning 30/9/25). If you are brand new to Wargaming and need a lesson or a Veteran who wants to find new people to play, you are welcome. If you are interested please email me or come down and see us directly. Now, two great war hosts converge upon a single doomed world. Not for conquest, but for extermination. This planet, once a thriving hub of industry, has become a keystone in the wider conflict. Its skies are blackened with the smoke of orbital bombardments. Megacities lie in ruins, their skeletal spires jutting like the bones of a dead titan. Oceans boil, mountains crack, and still the war-machines come, drawn by the scent of blood and the promise of decisive victory. At the heart of the conflict lies a vault of ancient power, a relic from forgotten times, buried beneath the ashes of civilization. Some factions believe it is a weapon capable of ending wars. Hi, I have been looking for an email to get in touch but have failed to find one. I am hoping that it is ok I am reaching out to you here. I am currently in the early stages of opening up a hobby store. I have been running my own company hosting Dungeons and Dragons sessions for children with of all ages and educational needs since Covid and I have been looking to move into miniature sales. I am wanting to open up a miniature Wargame and RPG shopfront, and use the OPR systems for all of our wargames. The business would have a heavy emphasis on bringing a new generation of wargamers to a system that is more accessible than the current high street miniature wargame brand. I work with children and have seen first hand the passive benefits that come to young people through the tabletop games and hobbying, and I would like to build a community that centres around these activities. In planning and sourcing investment, I realised that OPR may be interested in having a dedicated high street location, and I was wondering if you guys would like to have a conversation. I would love to talk to you about what I am working on, and I thought that opening the conversation during the early stages would allow you to gauge how much you guys would like to be involved. I would also like to be clear, I have already sourced the majority of my investment so I am not reaching out to you for that. HEROCON 2025 will be hosting two OPR events this year. Both will be 3 round casual tournaments.
