Here is the first look at two of the Narrative Heroes you can get withThe Last Tear, an all new Narrative Campaign for Age of Fantasy: Skirmish, launching soon on MyMiniFactory's Frontiers! This new narrative campaign pits the brave Ratmen soldiers of Brec against the Rift Daemons of War. It allows you to play a series of battles telling the tale of old enemies reigniting their rivalry.
“We are Ratmen of Brec. Our ancestors cut down Daemons like wheat for the harvest.”
Captain Teibanec is a young, white haired Ratman who dreams of performing heroic deeds and daring stunts. Descended from one the greatest heroes of Brec, who saved the fortified city from invading Daemons, Kedseit can’t help but compare himself to this mighty ancestor.
But the time of great battles is long gone, and he has to settle for a dull posting, patrolling the remote edges of the territory.
When a band of Daemons of War shows up and their Champion starts taunting and threatening him, he jumps at the chance to defend his city’s honour and prove his worth, drawing Havocfall, his legendary sword. This skirmish could be the first notch in his belt, the start of a glorious career that will earn him a place in his people’s memory.
But as events unfold, he begins to realise that he might have gotten more than he bargained for. When the fight for glory turns into a struggle for survival, Captain Kedseit Teibanec will have to decide if he can let go of his pride and put his life on the line for what is right.

Among the Daemons who serve the God of War, Ironpride has a bad reputation. Not for his weakness, as this Champion of War is a ferocious fighter, but for his deviousness. While most of his brethren value honour above all and strive to defeat their enemies in loyal combat, Ironpride has no such scruples. What he has is burning ambition.
For years, he has led his warband across Tyria to conduct preparations. Ignoring the doubts of his henchmen, he pushes on relentlessly. His plan is almost complete; soon, he swears, the very walls of Brec, the impregnable Ratmen city, will crumble before him. Ironpride is betting everything on his plan. If he succeeds, he will become one of the most celebrated Daemons to walk this plane. If he fails, he will be nothing.
But he is not worried; he can easily manipulate the little Ratman Captain upon which he has set his sights. And even if he can’t, he is a child of the God of War; what mortal blade could fell him while he is wielding his trusty Sharptongue? He will walk through his ruined city and reveal the Last Tear…
