The Gateway Saga

Rumours have begun to spread throughout Sirius of a Jumpgate created during the disaster known as the Radiance Cascade lying waiting to be unlocked. Created by the Dwarven Guilds seeking to exploit the untold resources of an untapped galaxy, the event cost countless lives and forever changed the sector.

Each faction present in Sirius has been shaped by the event in some way, and many are eager for answers about the still mysterious event. The Robot Legion view it as the cause of their sapience, while Orc Marauders search out their forebears, whom they believe are still lost inside its mysterious flow. The Humans of Sirius remember it as the event which tore their ancestors from the Milky Way into a new galaxy, unimaginably far from their home.

Daring commanders and adventurers have already begun to pursue the scattered clues of the Jumpgate’s whereabouts, hunting after fragmented maps and scientific diary entries.

Many have already come into conflict, desperately trying to claim these scattered clues for themselves. Yet, the greatest danger may not come from others at all but the lingering fallout from the century-and-a-half-old disaster known as the Radiance.

No one knows for certain what lies at the end of this perilous trail, but the promise of this lost Jumpgate has enticed many.
